CCMC's Recommendations:
While it is not the intention of CCMC to tell anyone how to vote, we believe it is in the tradition of American journalism, since the founding of the United States, to endorse candidates that best represent the principles that a particular group stands for. Below you will find a list of solid candidates. Just as we have chosen - so must you. Do some homework on the candidates and issues and then vote on Tuesday, April 5th.

*** Though you can vote for three candidates it is strategic to vote for one candidate to avoid cancelling out your top choice.

Atty. Matt Davis said...

I saw the debate between Prosser and Kloppenberg the other night and it was obvious that she doesn't have any idea what is involved in being a judge. Her whole campaign is premised on the idea that she hasn't pre-judged any position or case and will be completely neutral. And of course the reason she can say that is that she's a totally blank slate! Not one day of judicial experience and passed over by Obama and even DOYLE for judicial appointments in the past.

When pressed for an example to justify her advertisements' statement about Prosser having pre-judged certain things, her campaign flat out admitted they didn't have a single one.

Here's one more facet to this Supreme Court race to consider. If Prosser loses, Gableman will be ousted within days. His case is still tied up in a 3-3 stalemate (b/c he has to abstain). If Prosser goes down, they'll call Gableman's case back up and decide against him. So the balance on the court could swing 5-2 the other way!
